Back In Time

At the end of December last year I was recommended a useful method for digitizing analogue film negatives. With my 50 million pixel camera and a good macro lens, you can achieve really good results in digitization. After almost 40 years, I was finally able to “expose” negative films from my student days. Parts of the series can be seen on the website under “Street Photography At The End Of The 80s”.

After such a long time, I am still able to remember the places, but the actual circumstances and the feelings and thoughts that moved me at that time have faded. We are experiencing a lot of technical and social changes in our time, faster and more fundamentally than in any other era before. What took 30 years in the past will take 10 in the future. It occurred to me that I should definitely keep the negatives, otherwise I might not have the evidence to prove the authenticity of the images (AI sends its regards).
